Singing Bowls
Crystal singing bowls are a powerful and beautiful healing tool, specially made for their healing effect. They are made from 99% silica sand (quartz) and are created through a process where the sand is spun into a centrifugal mold heated to 4000 degrees, and an electric arc fuses the individual grains into one whole. The inside of the bowls is smooth, while the outside is granular and sparkly, like tiny quartz grains.
Crystal singing bowls first came into being as healing tools in 1990, but Tibetan '7' metal bowls, which work similarly, have been used for centuries. Today, crystal bowls are infused with other gemstones, such as Ruby and Rose Quartz, and precious metals, such as gold and silver, to enhance their properties. Crystal bowls combine several healing modalities: sound healing, crystal healing, and light and color. These properties can be further enhanced by the power of focused intention.
